MR. RICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

To ensure financial hurdles never stand in the way of a passionate student's musical journey

Who is Mr. Rick?

Mr. Rick taught guitar at RGS during the studio’s earliest days. As a new business with a brand-new team, he quickly became our “guru,” the one we turned to for guidance and answers. We remember his incredible charm, his sense of humor, and, most of all, his deep love for music and for people. To honor his legacy, we have created this sholarship to help deserving students continue their musical journey.

What is the purpose of the scholarship?

This scholarship exists to help deserving students at RGS continue their musical journey by providing significant tuition assistance. While families are still responsible for a portion of tuition to encourage commitment and consistency, our goal is to ensure that financial barriers never stand in the way of a student’s growth, learning, and love of music.

How Do We Raise Money?

Most of the Mr. Rick Memorial Scholarship is supported through our showcases, where 50/50 raffles help raise contributions. We also dedicate all door donations from our Open Mic Nights to the fund. Additionally, anyone can make a direct donation online using the link below—every contribution helps keep music accessible to our students.
