RGS currently offers weekly classes in a wide array of instruments and styles with highly qualified instructors. Classes are taught one on one in a professional environment. Our student's skill levels range from child beginner to adult hobbyist to university level musician, and everything in between. Areas of study include piano, vocal, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, strings, woodwinds, brass instruments, and more.

All new students are invited to take a free trial lesson to see how we can guide you along your musical journey.

Musical Theater

Our Band 101 program is perfect for the young student who wants to experiment with multiple different instruments. This is our most popular group class.

We welcome all students to schedule a free trial group class to see if learning along with their peers is the best fit for them.

Teachers will closely monitor students progress and will recommend when a student is ready to advance to more difficult group classes (102, 103, etc.) or private lessons in their respective instrument.
Weekly Group Class Tuition
45 Minute Class: $75/month
60 Minute Class: $95/month*
*Some 60 minute classes like Band 101 or Musical Theater will receive special discounted tuition at $85/month, regardless of class length.

We offer a 10% discount on tuition for siblings or other students managed under the same account.
Band Classes

Our band classes are for the more dedicated students that are ready to collaborate with a group. Teachers pair up students they believe will work well together, based on their chosen instrument, skill level, style, age, and experience. Collaborating with other musicians and playing within a group is one of the most important lessons we can teach young musicians.

Because we have many different ages, skill levels, and styles, students are hand picked by teachers and placed in a group they feel the student will excel in. New students with experience must audition with a teacher before being placed in a band.

Workshop Week
Workshop Week is a FREE four-day event offering group classes and specialized workshops on various music-related topics including piano, vocal, guitar, drums, ukulele, songwriting, musical theater, recording, and more! It's designed to give both new and current students the chance to learn with their peers while exploring fresh perspectives and honing their skills under the guidance of different instructors.

Because we so believe in the power of learning with a group, we aim to host Workshop Week twice per year - January and August. Contact us for more information about this wonderful free event for our students and the wider community.
Performance Showcases
We schedule 2 performance showcases throughout the year to demonstrate the progress of our talented students. A typical year includes our big outdoor Student Summer Showcase at Simpson Park in June and our formal Christmas Concert Series at Big Red Orchards in December.
We encourage most students to participate in these performances, as they tend to motivate students to perform their best and are often a focal point in a student's lessons. These showcases tend to be highly entertaining. See our events page for information on our next show.

In addition to showcases, students are welcome to participate in our monthly Open Mic Nights.
